Basic Course of Handmade Sewing for Beginners.
There will be 6 videos:
1) Presentation: Presentation
2) Lesson 01 - My first stitches: in this class, you will have a first contact with sewing. I am going to teach you how to put the thread on the needle, knot it, and also the first two stitches needed for sewing by hand.
3) Lesson 02 - Continuation - 4 stitches of handmade sewing: in this video, I will explain the other 4 points that are most used in handmade sewing, both for making a piece as well as for decoration.

4) Lesson 03 - Therapeutic Pillow: here I will teach you how to make a therapeutic pillow with one of the stitches taught in previous classes. I will also teach a new stitch, the Invisible stitch.
5) Lesson 04 - Shall we “fuxicar”? : do you know a very common handcraft in Brazil, called “fuxico”? If you don't know, watch this class and learn how to make a “sousplat” using this handmade technique. Here, we will use the basting stitch, passed in the first video lesson.
6) Lesson 05 and closing - Small Home Repairs: learn how to sew a button, make a repair on unstitched pants and make a bar (using a new stitch: “Pé de Galinha”).

Ana Cláudia dos Santos, dressmaker.
Divorced, has two children, 4 dogs and 7 hens. She lives with all of them in Campinas, state of São Paulo, Brazil. A micro entrepreneur, owner of a small clothing company, in partnership with her friend and ex-husband, Pedro.
They manufacture clothes for sports and gymnastics, sweatshirts, pet clothes and also making customised knitted clothes.
As a student of Social Service, she collaborates in some social actions in the area where she lives, such as the Grande Village Women's Network, among others.
